Vocational and social comeback

      for people after medical rehabilitation

          Sky lounge of the Urania Vienna, 9th of November 2010, 9.00 – 17.00

People who due to an accident or illness are physical and/or mental affected need special support for their vocational and social comeback.

EduCoRe¹  –  Educational Counselling during Rehabilitation – a project funded by the European Commission for life long learning and coordinated by die Berater® deals with exactly this topic. During the project lifetime from 2008 to 2010 training materials aiming at supporting patients of medical rehabilitation centre to re-enter the social and vocational life have been developed and tested in Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Denmark.

On the occasion of the oncoming project end project results and products will be presented at the

Beside project related discussions and presentations other relevant aspects will be addressed such as   

• Vocational rehabilitation out of the Austrian Job centre’s perspective
• Standardized counselling and training educations
• Holistic approach for patients
• Aging appropriate working

The conference takes place on the 9th of November 2010 from 9.00 to 17.00 in the sky lounge of the Urania Vienna. It aims at bringing together stakeholders from different sectors such as from the adult education field, medical and vocational rehabilitation, further more representatives from social securities, labour market service and other healthcare facilities are invited as well as persons concerned and relatives from all over Europe.
